Liebtser Award

I am so honored that my sweet friends Lauren from A Teachable Teacher, Jamie fromPlay to Learn Preschool,  and CarolMartinez from C is for Creative Classroom informed me that they nominated me for the Liebster Blog Award! The Liebster Award is where Bloggers nominate new bloggers for the award and give them the opportunity to share a bit about themselves.  To accept the award I have answer a few questions and nominate 5 new blogs which won’t be hard. Thank you so much Lauren, Jamie, and Carol for nominating me!
Here are the Questions:
1. What is your favorite classroom "tool"?
-Special Education just donated an iPad to our classroom.  That is definitely our new favorite tool.  We use it everyday for fun and engaging activities!
2. What is the sweetest thing another school staff member has ever done for you?
- My sweet friend Lesley was my mentor when I first started teaching, at the age of 22, and she was really there for me when I started teaching! So thankful for her!
3. If you could have any one item given to you for your classroom (with no price limit), what would it be?
-Our classroom really has everything we need! So thankful for the great technology and programs that have been given to our classroom. If I had to say one item it would be a Smartboard.
4. When did you know you wanted to be a teacher?
- In Kindergarten I was a peer buddy with a friend that had Down Syndrome.  We were friends all though elementary school.  Since I was little I have always wanted to be a teacher to help children.  My Senior Year in high school was when God placed the opportunity for me to work in the Special Education classroom.  That year will always be dear to my heart, because that is when God  let me know the type of teacher I'd always had the passion to be.
5. What do you consider your best ever TPT purchase?
- When I was 16 I started working at Sonic Drive In and then in college I worked at Big B Cleaners.
7. What is the best gift you have ever received from a student/parent?
- Whenever my kiddos make anything for me that just melts my heart!
8. Do you have a favorite pen?  What kind is it? (This is for all us school supply addicts!)
-Flair Pens are my absolute favorite!
9. When do you do the majority of your lesson plans?  Are you way ahead or do you plan as you go?
-Each grade level does team planning at our school.  Once a week the grade meets to go over lessons.  Each teacher plans for one subject and then once a week we go over plans.  Since I teach Special Education I have several grade levels where my students are developmentally.  I love planning with Second Grade on Thursdays after school and then I finish my plans on Fridays during my planning time or after school.
10. Are you involved in leading any extra-curricular activities at your school?
-No, not at this time.
11. What is your favorite school outfit?
-Fall wear! Love wearing sweaters and boots or a dress with leggings and boots.

Meet The Teacher (Linky)

Hey yall! My name is Lawren.  First and foremost the most important thing is my relationship with Jesus Christ.  I am 25 years old, a Special Education teacher, and blogger.
This is my 4th year teaching Special Education in grades K-5.
I am so thankful that God gave me the passion to work with children at a very early age and that I'm able to do what I love to do everyday.  Christ unconditional love keeps me motivated in everything I do.  I'm so excited to announce linking up with Ashley and Amanda at For His Glory.  Bi weekly we will be posting a verse for you to use scripture to give you, a friend, or coworker strength for the week.
Here is my little man, Luke, who I love dearly.  Nothing like coming home and relaxing with him when I get home.
A few things I love
Last year God put it on my heart to start creating products to help other teachers.  Since then He laid it on my heart to start blogging.  I am so thankful and blessed to of met so many amazing teachers and new friends.  This past summer I took on the Beachbody challenge with PiYo.  Since school has started, after working all day sometimes it's really hard to go home and workout, but Beachbody allows you to find your soul workout and T25 only takes 25 minutes a day to stay healthy during the school year! Lastly, I love reading! Here was my reading list for the summer.
These are a few of my favorite things
Being Organized!!! Here is a picture of my Math and Literacy Stations I have bought and made on TPT.  I teach Special Education so I color code the grade levels for the bins that I have a whole bin of stations for one grade level.
I LOVE THE FALL!!!!  It's honestly the BEST time of year to be a teacher!
A few more things would be Photography. Shakeology. Working Out.
Traveling. Target. Flair Pens.
I would love to open an Autism Horse Therapy Camp.
Faithful, Passionate, Kind
"I'd really love to fill out more paperwork, Said No Teacher ever!"

Snap and Complete: I would love to be to snap my fingers and whatever it is that needs to be done is completed to perfection!
“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." -Matthew 6:33
Our dreams are often found when we are not pursuing them, but pursing HIM.
Growing up I was always a morning person, but now I get so much more done at night.
I really love any of my QR Codes.  They have made our listening station run so much smoother during our Daily 5 rotations.  I also love my Teacher Binders.  They are completely editable where you can customize to meet your own needs.

My hair is a hot mess in the mornings so I have to straighten it (even though it's naturally straight) its super thick so straightening helps reduce the thickness.
I hope you enjoyed this!!!! I would love to get to know more about you! In the comments section answer one of the questions above about yourself.
